ΕLIDIA is, first and foremost, the realization of an ambitious childhood dream of the Chondrakis brothers from the region of Chania, Crete. Motivated by a sincere love of their homeland and confident of their family inheritance, Christos and Dimitris have set out to present the world with a divine natural product. The Chondrakis family engaged in the production of extra virgin olive oil (evoo) just after the end of the World War II and have managed ever since, to accumulate a massive knowledge and experience in extra virgin olive oil production. Every year, the family’s privately owned olive orchards are cultivated with maximum care under a strictly monitored dynamic environment to produce an olive juice of exceptional taste and superior therapeutic value. To ensure the quality of the entire production process we have carefully set up a network of top-level associates. The selection of those valuable co-workers has been based exclusively on two criteria: on the one hand, their loyalty to our vision of providing world with the finest representative products of the famous Cretan olive groves and on the other hand, their top-level professionalism necessary to guarantee maximum quality for our products. The network of ELIDIA associates includes olive oil millers, standardizers and specialists in the laboratory testing of olive oil quality. The way we see it, we are brothers united in the same cause.
